HIIT vs. Steady State Cardio – Which is Better?

Which is the better choice, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT, ie. alternating sprints with rest periods for about 25 minutes) or Low Intensity Steady State cardio (LISS, ie. jogging or doing cardio at a medium pace for about 45 minutes)? If you look online these days, you’ll be sure to get the impression that HIIT is FAR superior to traditional steady state cardio, and that anyone going for a nice long jog is just a moron. But is the case that cut and dry? Nope. So… let’s dive in!
