From 2011 to 2013, I was the exclusive personal trainer and acrobatic coach to Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, in preparation for his role as an acrobat in “Dhoom 3.”
For the film, Aamir’s goal was not only to get ripped, but to actually look, move, and feel like a professional acrobat. I trained Aamir up to four hours a day, six days a week, in acrobatics, weightlifting, parkour, juggling, unicycling, and handstands.
I also created custom diets for Aamir, carefully monitoring his intake of macronutrients, vitamins, and supplements. I also integrated a customized regime of cardiovascular exercise to help prepare Aamir for his rigorous shooting schedule.
